Red A5 book cover

A fabric notebook cover handmade using organic dry oilskin on my 1930s treadle sewing machine. Dry oilskin is a lovely soft yet hardwearing material, which has a lived in look that will get better with age. It is water-resistant, but unlike traditional oilskin has no oily residue.

Supplied without a book, so you can use with your favourite A5 size notebook, journal or sketchbook.

All computer monitors show colours differently, but I try to show the colour as accurately as possible.

Maximum book width: 330mm/13 inches (measured edge to edge around the closed book)
Maximum book height: 216mm/8.5 inches

○ Ideally don’t wash it, but if you absolutely have to then do so gently by hand. Dry flat and definitely don’t iron the cover. It may become less water resistant.
